went for the countdown into 2007 last night at esplanade.. hehex.. i reali haf to say dat it is super crowded.. hahax.. i went wif my family, cousin, cousin's thai friend n my aunt.. we wanted to get a place to stand at least.. we went there like pretty early.. at 6 plus i guess.. :1
but it was already super crowded then.. im pretty amazed by the ppl hu gets there so early n will haf to wait till wen it striked mignight.. o mann!! i started complaining after sittin there for like 3 hrs.. imagine dose ppl stayin there eatin 'ta pao' fd just to ensure themselves a place for like almost 5 to 6 hrs.. dats madness!! we went for dinner at the makan sutra after we checked out the place.. n went baq to our 'positions' at abt 7 plus.. but.. it was already taken.. :( so we had to move to another site..
and at our new site.. we saw daphne khoo.. hehex.. :)
there were like performances at ard 8 to entertain us so as to help all to last till it stike 12.. :) every1 were oso waitin anxiously for the 3 fireworks prelude followed by the big one wen it strike 12.. :) 1 at 10pm, the nx one at 11pm, the third one at 1130pm, n the final one wen it striked 12.. every1 was like sittin down waitin for the fireworks display.. wen it started to rain!! o gosh!!.. it started wif a lil drizzle... so no1 bothered abt it.. den the rain was heavier.. fortunately.. my cousin was smart enuff to haf brought a shower curtain as a mat for us.. so we turned it over n took it as a shelter.. hehex.. pretty fun n my sis was like luffin tru out.. hahax.. den.. unknowingly.. ppl started to cum in to share the 'shelter' we had.. hahax.. so we ended up being saviors of others.. hahax.. fortunately.. my aunt brought 3 umbrellas.. so we could use the umbrella too.. luckily.. the rain stopped after a while b4 the fireworks started.. den it striked 12 n there it was the big fireworks dat every1 was waitin for.. quite beaultiful but not as nice as the other fireworks i ever saw.. yup.. aniwae.. it was pretty spectacular n every1 started screamin n shoutin.. :)after the fireworks.. ppl started to leave.. n it took us almost one hr to get out of the place as it was SO CROWDED!!!!!! yup.. and our journey hme took like 1 hr plus due to the jam.. :1.. but.. it was overall pretty fun as i get to play wof my cousin n her thai friend together wif my sis.. haha.. so its a good start of the year i hope.. hehex.. :)
